Operating since 1992, Moe's Alley is a 300-capacity club on Commercial Way in Santa Cruz with a spacious dance floor, full bar, and outdoor patio called The Yard. Blues was the original backbone, with West Coast heavyweights like Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya, and Jimmy Thackery anchoring the early calendar. Over three decades, the programming expanded to embrace salsa, reggae, Afropop, bluegrass, and funk, reflecting Santa Cruz's eclectic musical appetite. The venue books live music six nights a week, Tuesday through Sunday, and a recent renovation added murals, outdoor speakers, and an Agave taqueria stand to the patio.
