A Santa Cruz institution since 1973, The Crepe Place started as a tiny creperie inspired by a trip to Paris, originally called The Seine on The Other Side, at the corner of Ocean and Soquel. Over five decades, it has evolved into a full restaurant and music venue with both an indoor stage seating around 100 and a garden stage accommodating up to 275. The calendar runs up to seven nights a week with indie rock, folk, punk, and touring singer-songwriters. Frank Black of the Pixies and Canadian alt-country act the Sadies are among the national headliners who have played the garden.
